  • In 2004-2005, I was invited to apply for Plant Pathology Department Head at the University of Minnesota , the University of Nebraska , Kansas State University , and Oklahoma State University , and also Department Head for the Department of Soil and Crops at TAMU and the Plant and Soil Science Department at Texas Tech University .

Patents:

Negotiated a licensing agreement in 1996 with Holly Sugar Seed Division for intellectual property and know-how with regard to use of Polymyxa betae as a means of inoculating plants with mild viral strains to achieve cross protection. This resulted in two patents.

U.S. Patent No. 5, 614,186. Infected soilborne fungus for inoculating plants. Issued March 25, 1997 .

U.S. Patent No. 6,175,059. Development of a novel gene delivery system through seed coating. Issued January 16, 2001 .
