Panhandle, District1

Galen provides leadership for the recruitment, selection, supervision, management and professional development of county Extension agents for the 22 counties within the Texas Panhandle, District 1. He is responsible for material resources and the interpretation of educational programs to key stakeholders, such as county commissioner’s courts, local and county officials, and state and federal legislators. He coordinates with the Regional Program Directors and Senior Administrative Team to identify program direction, resources for program enhancement and set priorities to most effectively impact Extension programming.
