At Texas AgriLife Research - The Ruminant Animal Health Research Program at Texas AgriLife Research in Amarillo seeks to support improvement in animal health and well-being in production systems of the Southern Great Plains. The program currently participates in a wide range of epidemiologic research including host resistance to disease, microbial ecology, food safety, and theoretical epidemiology. In addition, the program provides veterinary and statistical support to a number of other programs within Texas AgriLife Research in Amarillo and the Texas A&M System statewide.
