Beef Cattle Research designed to meet the needs of the stocker calf and fed cattle industries of the Texas High Plains.

At Texas AgriLife Research -- our efforts are focused on animal nutrition and environmental issues. Scientists and engineers within Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Amarillo conduct this research.

Our cooperators include scientists with the USDA-Agricultural Research Service in Bushland, TX and West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX.

Our research facilities are shared with animal scientists at the USDA-Agricultural Service at Bushland. Our combined research and personnel are key to the success of these programs.
