Research Interests
Jewel Arthur’s role is to coordinate owrk with rewsearchers’ projects in the greenhouse.  She makes adjustments for temperature, insects or other major issues.  She supervises and trains student workers on how to mix soil, plant seed, pull weeds, spray insects, sampling and processing of samples, and proper lab techniques/safety.  She also maintains equipment, fabricates and paints soil bins, and maintains growth chambers.
