Landscape Design – July 25

CANYON – Summer temperatures along with rain, or the lack thereof, always brings about turfgrass issues that the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Randall County will address in a Summer Horticulture Series.

Landscaping and turfgrass are topics of discussion during the Summer Horticulture Series at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office at 200 N. Brown Road, Canyon

Dr. Joey Young, Texas Tech University assistant professor of turfgrass science in Lubbock, will be the guest speaker on June 27. The same program will be offered both at noon and 6:30 p.m.

“Dr. Young’s advanced turfgrass knowledge is very beneficial for homeowners and we look forward to having him here to share with our guests,” said Liz Moore, AgriLife Extension horticulture agent in Randall County.

This meeting, as well as all programs in the series, is on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the AgriLife Extension office at 200 N. Brown Road, Canyon. Lunch will be provided for the noon programs and dessert and coffee at the evening programs.

Registration is requested by June 25 by calling the AgriLife Extension office in Randall County at 806-468-5543 or online at http://Randall.agrilife.org. Registration is $12 for an individual program or $40 for all programs. Payment can be made at the door the day of the program.
