Addressing agronomic challenges in grain, cotton, and silage production in the Texas Panhandle
Three Areas of Focus
In Amarillo, the agronomist assists and advises Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service County agents and producers on grain, cotton, and silage crop production issues across 22 counties of the Texas Panhandle and beyond.
Our work involves designing and implementing demonstrations, research studies, and educational programs to address agronomic questions directly impacting regional producers. Results are distributed through fact sheets, news articles, and Extension programs.
We also provide individual producers with consultation to address their specific concerns.
